HanaTour, the nation’s largest travel agency, will hold the ninth HanaTour International Travel Show at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, from June 5-7.
About 910 tourism-related organizations and firms, including hotels, resorts, airlines and tourism authorities, will take part.
Their booths are categorized by region ― Southeast Asia, Japan, China, America, the South Pacific, Europe and Africa, and Korea ― and also by themes ― honeymoon, golf and leisure and free individual tour.
Visitors will be able to purchase tour programs at the fair for lower prices than those sold at HanaTour’s website or offline offices.
While travel firms have introduced their products to Korean consumers in previous years, this year’s fair will have business-to-business sections where some 60 people from 40 travel agents across the world will discuss with Korean agents to develop tour programs to Korea.
