Residents love Marriott's fitness center

Jimmy, who hails from China, is the managing director of a Korean branch of a multinational company.

In the morning, Jimmy, who requested to be known only by his first name for this article, runs to his apartment buildings fitness center to work out and then grabs a quick bite at Park Cafe, also in his apartment building, before going to the office.

He lives alone in Seoul at Marriott Executive Apartments, Yeouido Park Centre. However, he spends very little time in his apartment and rarely cooks or eats there.

Jimmy said the fitness center and the peace and quiet are what he likes most about the Marriott Executive Apartments, which are located in Yeouido on the Han River, which is home to many financial organizations.

I prefer to have peace and quiet when I go home, a more peaceful atmosphere, he said as to why he decided to stay at the Marriott Executive Apartments. He said he feels it has more guests like him, and thus, knows how to create the right atmosphere for him.

They have a very good fitness center, he also said.

The fitness center consists of a gym, swimming pool, sauna and Soo Spa.

The gym is the largest among those of serviced apartments in the city it has an area of 660 square kilometers and 108 pieces of exercise equipment.

Sling treatment equipment designed to restore and improve muscle balance and Schroth Method equipment designed to increase muscle strength and pain tolerance are available only at the Marriott Executive Apartments in Korea.

A living room in a one-bed suite

The fivelanes swimming pool is connected to the sauna, and Soo Spa has nine treatment rooms for those who are looking to relax while in the city. These amenities are open to the apartments residents and to nonresidents through a membership program.

Marriott Executive Apartments are also close to Yeouido Park, a public park that is a favorite among city joggers.

Located in the financial hub of Seoul, Marriott Executive Apartments, Yeouido Park Centre, opened in July 2007 with 103 rooms targeting domestic and foreign business people and executives who travel to the city.
