The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul is the winner of The Korea Times’ Best Brand Hotels Awards in the service category.

The hotel’s service is built on two decades of experience and the high standard of its staff.

Opened in February 1995, the hotel has 375 rooms, 47 of which are suites.

Located in Gangnam in southern Seoul, the hotel has four small rooms for meetings and one Grand Ballroom. The latter can host 500 people at once, and has been a venue for large-scale conferences and seminars. All the rooms are outfitted with state-of-the-art acoustic and lighting facilities. Simultaneous interpreting services for international meetings are provided.

Its Fitness Club offers personal training. Facilities include exercise machines, physical analysis machines, a group exercise room for stretching and yoga, a swimming pool, a whirlpool jacuzzi, an eight-tee outdoor golf driving range, a sauna with steam rooms, a stove docks, and a hot and cold Japanese traditional hinoki wooden bath.

When it comes to dining, the hotel has six different options: all-day dining restaurant The Garden, the Chinese restaurant Chee Hong, Japanese restaurant Hanazono, Oksan Buffet, The Ritz Bar and the Ritz Deli. The Garden is known for its outdoor space that is good for parties. It offers barbecues during summer.

The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul is also known for its art. Paintings by Pablo Picasso and Roy Lichtenstein decorate the walls of the hotel, especially the Presidential Suite.

The hotel also won other awards in the past, including the Korean Architecture Award in 1995 by Hong Kong magazine Business Traveler. In 2012 and 2013, it was also selected as a destination in the Luxury Hotel category in TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards.

In 2015, The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul celebrates its 20th anniversary. The hotel is preparing to offer each guest lasting memories and experiences.

“Because the history of the hotel so far is built on the experiences and memories taken away by its happy guests, 2015 will be a year of reflection on the hotel’s achievements so far,” it said in a statement.
