Hotels offer winter packages

If you are looking for something fun for winter, hotel packages can be an option.

W Seoul-Walkerhill’s winter package has three options.

The “Winter Home” package includes one night in a “Wonderful Room” and a breakfast buffet for two at Kitchen or Namu where various dishes are presented by the hotel’s top notch chefs.

Also, a winter giveaway specially designed in W style is provided as a complimentary gift along with benefits such as 20 percent discounts at Kitchen, Namu, and Tonic. Guests can also enjoy a 10 percent discount at the hotel’s Away Spa. Winter Home is available from Dec. 1 through Feb. 28, 2015 (except Dec. 24 and 31) at a starting price of 280,000 won (tax and service fee excluded).

The “Winter Escape” includes one night in a “Wonderful Room” decorated in red and white, a buffet style breakfast for two, and a W style winter giveaway, along with a complimentary bottle of champagne and cheese platter as room service for couples and families.

Also, it provides access to Water Zone and a herb bath for two. Guests can enjoy a 10 percent discount at Away Spa and a 20 percent discount at Kitchen, Namu, and Tonic. The “Winter Escape” is available from Dec. 1 to Feb. 28, 2015 (except Dec. 24 and 31) at a starting price of 370,000 won.

The “Festive Eve” package is available exclusively on Dec. 24 and 31. It includes a night stay in a “Wonderful Room,” breakfast buffet for two, and a W Style cake along with a bottle of wine as room service essential for a romantic holiday eve. Also, two tickets to W Hotel’s very best parties, Christmas Eve party or New Year’s Eve party are provided (including one welcome drink). Further, guests will receive a W style giveaway as well as a 10 percent discount on Away Spa services. The Festive Eve is only available on Dec. 24 and 31 at the starting price of 600,000 won. Early reservations are highly recommended as rooms sell out quickly for these dates.

THE PLAZA

THE PLAZA offers the “Purple in Your Heart 2014” package which includes one night in a Deluxe Room with a romantic winter view of Seoul Plaza and Sejong Avenue, and the Plaza Teddy Bear, as well as a 10 percent discount at hotel restaurants and the free use of the Plaza Fitness Club. Price starts from 200,000 won (tax and service charge excluded).

“Purple in Your Heart” is THE PLAZA’s charity initiative realizing corporate social responsibility. In its third year, “Purple in Your Heart 2014” introduces Plaza Teddy Bear Family by launching a new big daddy size bear. From Dec. 1, they can be purchased at the front desk, and hotel restaurants and facilities. Proceeds from teddy bear sales will be donated to Compassion Korea to help organize a “Water Project,” which will provide clean water for Asian children. Imperial Palace Seoul

Imperial Palace Seoul presents “Wake your Sensibility” from Nov. 29 to Feb. 28, 2015 (except for Dec. 24).

The package includes a one-night stay, free access to the fitness center and swimming pool, breakfast for two, and a bottle of perfume "Sanctus for the Almighty" produced in collaboration between fragrance brand N+1 and designer Kaal E. Suktae. The perfume has a fragrance of wood, musk, frankincense and myrrh. The package price starts from 220,000 won (excluding taxes and service charges). The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul’s winter package is available from Nov. 21 to Feb. 28, 2015.

The “Wonder’ful Day” includes a one-night stay in a Superior Deluxe Room with breakfast. Complimentary admission to the hotel fitness club and indoor swimming pool are also included. The package is priced at 250,000 won (tax and service charge excluded).

The “Wonder’ful Memory” offers one night in a Superior Deluxe room with a selection of finger foods such as shrimp cocktail, salmon salad, crab sandwiches, and grilled asparagus and mushroom salad served in-room.

Also included are three beautiful flower bouquets, providing the perfect decoration for bridal showers and other special parties. Complimentary admission to the hotel fitness club and indoor swimming pool are also included. The package is priced at 318,000 won.

The “Wonder’ful Treat” includes one night in a Superior Deluxe room and a 40-minute spa treatment for one at the Pevonia Spa in the hotel.

Renaissance Seoul Hotel

Renaissance Seoul Hotel’s winter packages are available from Dec. 1 to Feb. 28, 2015. All packages include complimentary use of the indoor swimming pool, Renaissance Recreation Center and a 50 percent discount at the sauna.

The “Winter Saving” package includes a one-night stay in a Deluxe Room for 180,000 won (service charge and tax excluded).

The “Winter Fantasy” package is designed for couples with a one-night stay in a Deluxe Room, complimentary breakfast for two at the Cafe; Elysee, free in-room Internet, two glasses of winter cocktail at Trevi lounge, winter limited edition cake and two cups of coffee or hot chocolate. The price is 230,000 won.

The “Winter Wonderland” package offers a one-night stay in a Deluxe Room, complimentary breakfast for two at the Cafe; Elysee (children under 12 can eat free — two maximum), free in-room Internet, two winter cocktails at the Trevi lounge, a winter limited edition cake and two cups of coffee or hot chocolate.
