Westin Chosun fetes 100th Anniv.

Steak at Ninth Gate at the Westin Chosun Seoul, which is holding special events to mark its 100th anniversary that falls on next year.

The Westin Chosun Seoul is celebrating its 100th anniversary holding the “100 Days Festival”. After their successful kick off, the second part of the festival will run for 25 days in July 29 - Aug. 22, which is themed by the recent 50 years since 1964. During this period, the hotel is launching a Gastronomic Festival and offering several special events, including music concerts and summer packages.

In the second journey of 100 Days Gastronomic Festival, each restaurant in the hotel will be presenting its 100th anniversary special menus.

The country’s first French restaurant Ninth Gate Grille and Italian Bistro Vecchia e Nuovo prepares a selection of the most favored Western dishes of the 1960-80s. The Live Buffet Restaurant ARIA offers 50 most loved health-boosting summer dishes for the past 50 years. Sushi Cho prepares summer special set menu with a complimentary bottle of Junmai Ginjo sake. Lobby Lounge The Circle introduces two celebrity cocktails inspired by General MacArthur and Marilyn Monroe. The Chinese restaurant Hong Yuan prepares 10 dishes from the restaurant’s 50 most loved signature dishes.

Guests who visit three and six different restaurants during the festival will receive a Shinsegae Shopping Voucher and the hotel’s Business Deluxe Room Voucher for a night.

In addition to the Gastronomic Festival, all restaurants offer a 100 percent winning scratch coupon for 100 days, room package festival for 100 days, and a Rock-One Concert from July 26-Aug. 10.
