
Imperial Palace Seoul’s Italian restaurant Verona presents an American steak promotion from Nov. 26 to Dec. 31.
Using prime-grade American beef, a lunch set with a reasonable price, a la carte steak dishes, and a dinner course menu are on offer. Those having a la carte meals will get an appetizer of truffle, foie gras and fried olive, with prices starting from 19,000 won per 100 gram of beef.

W Seoul-Walkerhill holds the last of its year-long dinner events, W Indulge Winter, on Nov. 29.
With different themes each time, the dinner event’s last theme is food with Californian wines recommended by wine columnist Matt Kramer. The food courses will include tuna crudo; seared hokaido scallops and foie gras tortellini; maine lobster risotto; roasted veal tenderloin; sous-vide beef short rib; and panna cotta and dried strawberries. Each will be accompanied by different wines Kramer recommends.

JW Marriott Seoul’s Italian restaurant Olivo presents “Italian Regional Special Promotion,” a chance to sample a selection of the most popular dishes from Olivo’s regional promotions over the last two years.
Through Dec. 16, the promotion will feature 10 a la carte dishes from seven Italian regions and set menus, including ricotta-filled dried beef roll from Lombardy; Sorrento-style seafood soup and grilled snapper and king prawn from Campania; pappardelle from Piedmont; saffron risotto balls from Tuscany; and roast squid from Sicily.

A kid’s cooking class is offered at Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel for the Christmas season.
Participating children will create their own gingerbread house by using cookies, chocolate and jelly with help from the hotel chefs. They will wear specially-designed kid’s aprons and hats, which can be purchased later.
The class will be held every Friday at 4 p.m. from Nov. 30 to Dec. 21. Children aged between four and 10 can join, with a maximum of 10 children per class.
