Ritz-Carlton Seoul

A new general manager is taking over the reins at the Ritz-Carlton Seoul. His name is Christopher R. Clark and the primary goal of the expert with 24 years of hospitality experience is to improve the quality of the products and services offered by the hotel. As part of the new brand platform “Let Us Stay With You,” Clark looks to have guests experience a more mystique and memorable stay.

Clark’s Ritz-Carlton career began in 1997. Throughout the world he has held various posts at the hotel chains in Buckhead in Atlanta, Kuala Lumpur, Bali, Sanya and Tokyo. He has also assisted in the opening task forces for many other sister hotels including those in St. Thomas, Sharm El Sheikh, Istanbul, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Grand Hyatt Seoul

The Paris Grill at Grand Hyatt Seoul presents two dining experiences to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

The special gourmet dinners include a five course menu, a bottle of Moet & Chandon rose champagne, a flower bouquet, chocolate pralines from The Deli, and limousine pickup or drop-off service.

The event will be available on Feb. 14 and the price starts from 440,000 won for two persons excluding tax and service charges. The limousine service will be provided for an additional charge. For more information, call 02-799-8161.

Novotel Ambassador Gangnam

The Bistro at Novotel Ambassador Gangnam offers a "Spicy Love" menu on Feb. 14 to highlight the day of romance.

The menu on Valentine’s Day includes gratinated oyster and caviar; clear shellfish consomme flavored with ginseng and lemon grass; marbled foie gras slightly spiced with garam massala; scallops feuillete; beef filet and green pistachio risotto; and desserts served with coffee and chocolate. All dishes feature hazelnut, vanilla and lemon accents to spice up the romantic dinner.

The Plaza

The Plaza Spa Club’s medical spa offers a chocolate facial and body program named Chocolate SPA Therapy throughout February.

The programs include a chocolate facial treatment designed to restore vitality and nourishment to skin with the abundant nutrients and hydrating elements of chocolate, as well as a full body lymph massage using chocolate balls for detoxification and better blood circulation.

Oakwood Premier Coex Center

Residents’ Lounge at Oakwood Premier Coex Center offers Serengeti herbal teas and Korean traditional teas through the end of February.

Serengeti teas include jasmine green tea, mint medley tea and pomegranate white tea. Korean teas to be served include honey ginseng tea to lower blood sugar levels; citron tea rich in vitamin C; jujube tea to help enhance blood circulation and keep warm; along with several traditional teas with medicinal herbs.
