Millennium Seoul Hilton’s Japanese restaurant Genji offers Nabemono promotion, a perfect antidote to the cold winter, through the end of February.

Nabemono is a Japanese-style one-pot meal. Seafood, vegetables and noodles are served in a ceramic pot to create a savory and nutritious broth. Special courses include Hot Pot Medley; Seafood and Udon in a Hot Pot; and Blowfish in a Hot Pot. They are priced at between 55,000 won and 99,000 won.

Lotte Hotel Seoul

Celebrating the first anniversary of the renewal opening, Lotte Hotel Seoul’s buffet restaurant La Seine presents special menus throughout January.

The courses include temakis using spicy crispy lobster and negi toro, whole BBQ pork, lobster thermidor, snow crab and beef bone broth with ginseng. Lunch is priced at 77,000 won on weekdays and 79,000 won on weekends, while dinner is 82,000 won throughout the week.

For one day on Jan. 11, Spain Tapas Gala Dinner will be presented with chefs providing dishes that were most favored during the past year. Grilled venison, jamon, paella and bouillabaisse will be available in tapas-style, along with Spanish wines on sale. The gala dinner is priced at 150,000 won. For more information, call 02-317-7171.

IP Boutique Hotel

Cafe Amiga at IP Boutique Hotel offers “3+1 Lunch Buffet” promotion through Feb. 29.

In the promotion, if a group of four guests has lunch, one of them will be able to enjoy the buffet for only 9,900 won, while the original price is 29,700 won. Guests can also make a special request to open a garden terrace for their private gatherings. The lunch hours are between 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

The restaurant also presents traditional European beverages during January. The beverages include cafe royal, emperor’s coffee served with a spoonful of warm brandy and a lump of sugar set on fire; gluhwein; and ginger coffee. Prices start from 12,900 won.

Renaissance Seoul Hotel

Kabin, the Chinese restaurant at Renaissance Seoul Hotel, presents fortune cookies that include special prizes until Jan. 24.

All customers will have fortune cookies, and 100 of them have winning prizes such as vouchers for rooms or dining at the restaurant, a bottle of wine and traditional Chinese liquor.

During January, the restaurant offers lunch and dinner set menus of Cheongdu City in Sichuan, presenting hot, spicy and highly addictive dishes. Lunch is priced at between 57,000 won and 75,000 won and dinner from 86,000 won to 100,000 won. For more information, call 02-2222-8657.

Celebrating the Lunar New Year, Grand Hilton Seoul offers a selection of high-quality produce from Gangwon Province as holiday gifts.

The premium items include: pine nuts from Hongcheon, wild ginseng from Pyeongchang and dandelion extract from Yanggu. In particular, Hoengseong County-certified hanwoo beef sets have more than 10 options including ribs, sirloin steak, and cow feet and bones.
