Stay warm with hotels’ winter packages

Winter is fast approaching, when people prefer indoor activities and want to hole up in a warm and relaxing place. Here are some hotel deals that may satisfy such needs.

The Grand Hyatt Seoul presents Winter on the Ice from Dec. 3 to Feb. 29.

The package includes a one night stay in a grand room, 10-percent discount at The Chinese Restaurant or buffet restaurant The Terrace, 10-percent discount on couple spa treatment at The Spa, 50-percent discount at the sauna, and free use of the gym and pool.

The package also allows free admission to the ice rink and skate rental for two for Monday to Thursday or Sunday night stays, and half-priced ice rink admission and skate rental for two on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Hyatt Regency Incheon is running a Year-End Package through Dec. 30.

It features a one night stay, 10-percent discount at Restaurant 8, a Hyatt logo-labeled blanket and free use of the swimming pool, sauna and fitness center at 220,000 won. For more information, call 032-745-1234.

The JW Marriott Seoul has a Cozy Winter Package from Dec. 1 to Feb. 29.

Guests can receive two pairs of socks with the hotel’s logo on them and a set of Tea Forte, while enjoying one night stay in a superior room, breakfast for two at The Cafe@JW, free use of the swimming pool and gym and a coupon book for Yongpyong Ski Resort.

The Imperial Palace Seoul presents the Beautiful Mind Winter Package, which includes a set of espresso beans and a mug from the charity organization Beautiful Store.

Guests in a deluxe room can have breakfast for two at Cafe Amiga. For those in a duplex or corner suite, benefits include breakfast at the club lounge, dinner for two at Italian restaurant Verona and free use of the sauna and Internet.

The Ritz-Carlton Seoul’s Winter Package offers a one night stay in a superior deluxe room at 220,000 won through Feb. 28. For an additional 130,000 won, guests can enjoy a five-course dinner in their room.

A spa treatment for two at Themae Spa is available for an additional 240,000 won. Themae is a French spa brand and the one at the Ritz Carlton Seoul is the first to open in Asia. For more information, call 02-3451-8114.

The Sheraton Grande Walkerhill offers Early Winter packages available through Dec. 21. It features a one night stay, free admission to the Walkerhill Book Cafe and two cups of takeout coffee from the lobby lounge pavilion.
