Il Ponte, the Italian bistro in the Millennium Seoul Hilton, is preparing a Winemaker’s Dinner on Oct. 28, featuring wines from the Dievole winery which has produced wine since the 11th century.
Wines to be introduced include Dievolino Bianco di Malvasia IGT 2010, Chianti Classico La Vendemmia DOCG 2008 and Premium Quintus 2007. The wines will be accompanied by a six-course dinner, carefully selected to showcase the nature and flavor of the wines, such as red onion ravioli filled with sea scallops and porcini mushroom, saffron risotto with green peas and shrimp, and grilled beef tenderloin with champignon mushrooms and apples.

Celebrating the first anniversary of the renewal opening of Korean restaurant Mugunghwa, Lotte Hotel Seoul presents the Empress Myeongseong package through Nov. 13.
The package includes an eight-course Mugunghwa family menu for two and two R-seat tickets to the musical “Empress Myeongseong,” a total 400,000 won value for only 240,000 won.

A program of Korean cooking classes will be open for foreign residents, offering them opportunities to make and experience Korean cuisine.
Participants of the cooking classes, taught by the hotel’s chefs, will learn recipes of two Korean dishes in each class, as well as engage in other social activities. The dishes include bulgogi, seafood pancake, cold bean noodles, bibimbap and chicken ginseng soup. All of the necessary ingredients and cooking tools will be prepared in advance by the hotel and the recipes will be written in both Korean and English.
