Lotte Hotel Seoul’s French restaurant Pierre Gagnaire a Seoul offers the New Conceptual Cuisine menu prepared for summer.
The menu features three- to seven-course dinners prepared with seasonal food ingredients using creative techniques. It is priced between 130,000 won and 220,000 won depending on the number of courses.
The restaurant also has 60 kinds of wines at a 20 percent discount through July 31, selected by sommelier Lee Yong-moon who was awarded the first prize at the 2011 Best Sommelier of Korea Competition. Grand Hyatt Seoul’s J.J. Mahoney’s presents “J.J.’s Races” party on June 24 and 25.
The total entertainment outlet will be transformed into a refreshing world of a motor race way. Upbeat rhythms of live music by J.J.’s band Magenta and guest DJ Zuui will bring the party to a pitch. A dance contest, lucky draws and more events are prepared along with a complimentary welcome drink and coffee.

Cheon San, Imperial Palace Hotel’s Chinese restaurant, offers the Healthy Course Menu and dishes featuring eel through Aug. 31.
The six-course menu includes steamed vegetable worm, shark’s fin, abalone and sea cucumber, Peking duck and “buldojang.” The prices start at 50,000 won for lunch and 135,000 won for dinner.

The Ritz-Carlton Seoul presents a variety of health drinks in the outdoor terrace of The Garden through Aug. 31. The restaurant’s mixologist Park Young-jae introduces various ades featuring bonnet bellflower, Korean raspberry and red ginseng, along with blueberry latte. The drinks are priced between 14,000 won and 17,000 won, excluding tax and service charge.

The Renaissance Seoul Hotel has a new general manager, Simon Bell. Bell was general manager for Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Times Square before joining Renaissance. The Australian national has been with Marriott for 19 years, starting his career at the Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort and Spa in 1992.
He has held various posts at Sydney Marriott Hotel, Brisbane Marriott Hotel and St. Kitts Marriott Resort and Royal Beach Casino. “I’m truly excited to join the iconic Renaissance Seoul Hotel family.
