Pop open the bubbly at the special Champagne Bar in the Lobby Lounge of the Grand Hyatt Seoul featuring six different champagnes by the glass for a unique tasting experience.

Through March 31, the Champagne Bar presents a selection of the world’s premium champagnes by the glass, without having to purchase an entire bottle of these vintages. The range includes Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial-Magnum, Bollinger Special Cuvee Brut, Billecart Salmon Brut Rose, Laurent Perrier Rose, Veuve Clicquot Vintage Reserve 2002, and Dom Perignon Vintage 2002.

Ritz Carlton

For those tying the knot at the Ritz-Carlton Seoul, the “Honeymoon Package” will certainly complete the ceremony to make memories that last a lifetime. Following the wedding, the newlyweds can spend the night at a superior deluxe room with a view, provided with a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates. The newlyweds will also have free access to the fitness club and swimming pool.

Westin Chosun

The Westin Chosun Seoul’s Japanese restaurant, Sushi Cho, will be offering the true taste of soba by inviting chef Yoshinori Horii, the head chef of Japan’s 220-year-old soba restaurant Sarashina Horii.

Just as Korean “naengmyeon” (cold noodles) is defined by region or origin, soba is also separated into three types depending on its pedigree ㅡ yabu soba, sarashina soba and sunaba soba. Sarashina Horii is the origin of the sarashina variety, and since the restaurant’s opening in 1789, it was given the honor to be favored by the royal family.

Sarashina Horii uses 80 percent refined buckwheat making its soba smoother and white-colored.

Renaissance

Welcome the change in seasons at the Manhattan Grill, the Renaissance Seoul’s steakhouse, by enjoying the “Spring Dinner Set” through April 24.

The limited offer meal uses fresh spring vegetables including wild rocambole, mugwort and dropwort. Starting with a baked wild rocambole samosa and live scallop, the dinner is followed by wild mugwort soup with spring dumpling and a dropwort salad. Grilled hanwoo sirloin steak is the main dish and for dessert, finish with a gorgeous slice of green tea cheese cake.

Novotel

The Novotel Ambassador Gangnam’s Japanese restaurant Shunmi is offering a seasonal sea bream gala through May 27.

The sea bream set menu at 150,000 won, which includes an appetizer, clear soup, sea bream sashimi, broiled sea bream wakasa, steamed sea bream sakura, steamed sea bream rice, and deep fried spring vegetables should not be missed.

The sea bream steak menu includes salad, steamed egg custard, assorted sashimi and sushi, sea bream steak, and bean paste soup. It is priced at 65,000 won.
