‘Table 34’, located on the 34th floor of the Grand InterContinental Seoul, is introducing gourmet dishes made with Australian truffles, from August 2 to 14.
This promotion will mark the first time truffles from Australia are introduced to Korean gourmands.
The menu for this promotion includes a wide range of individual items from appetizers, desserts and a la carte dishes to an 8-course dinner menu.
Black truffle, known as the tastiest, grows by oak or hazelnut trees and can be found during late autumn and winter. The cracked parts of the black truffle have a diamond pattern, and ripe truffles reveal a purplish black color inside with firm and white veins dispersed.
This promotion is priced at 180,000 won for the dinner set menu and a la carte dishes are available from 18,000 to 58,000 won. Tax and service charges are excluded.

The Imperial Palace Hotel offers a “Poolside barbeque buffet” from 6 to 10 p.m. on weekends and holidays until Sept. 26.
From pork chops to squid and calamari, about 16 various specialties will be prepared to order.
Smoked salmon, grilled eel, salads and desserts such as caramel pudding as well as apple pies and sorbets are presented poolside.
