Millennium Seoul Hilton

The Millennium Seoul Hilton hosts a series of fun events at its Kids’ Fun Festival on May 5, celebrating Children’s Day.

A Kid’s Carnival lunch buffet is offered in the Grand Ballroom from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The special menu includes spaghetti, pizza, pork cutlet and French fries, as well as other kid-friendly favorites. The buffet is priced at 60,000 won for adults and 38,000 won for children aged 12 and under.

Buffet restaurant Orangerie also offers fun events such as face painters and balloon clowns for children’s entertainment.

Children are also invited to a pizza party to make their own pizzas at the hotel’s Italian restaurant Il Ponte at 11:30 a.m. on May 5. Reservation required.

Lotte Hotel World

Lotte Hotel World’s The Lounge offers juice, cocktails and cakes made with sweet and fragrant strawberries until April 30.

An array of strawberry drinks include fresh strawberry juice, ``Strawberry Oasis,’’ a concoction of strawberries and raspberry liquor, and the sweet and sour ``Strawberry Paradise.’’ Three kinds of luscious strawberry cake will add a sweet touch to spring.

The Grand Hilton Seoul offers a variety of asparagus dishes at the Atrium Cafe salad bar in the month of May.

The soft crunch of fresh asparagus is one of the highlights of the springtime delicacies. In addition to its subtle taste, asparagus is good for the liver, reducing blood pressure and preventing kidney stones.

The promotion features asparagus cream soup, a selection of asparagus salads, classic steak with asparagus and many more.

The Seoul Plaza Hotel hosts a special 34 percent discount promotion ahead of its renovation into a boutique business hotel.

All the hotel's in-house bars and restaurants will participate in the event in commemoration of the 34th anniversary of the hotel’s opening and offer a 34 percent discount on gourmet dishes, as well as serving a ``Goodbye for Now’’ chef's special menu from April 26 to May 2.

The hotel will close down for renovation after the promotional event. Starting May 3, all guestrooms, bars and restaurants will be closed for reopening on November 1.

The Grand InterContinental Seoul's cafe and restaurant ``Grand Café’’ introduces an all-new ``Made in Korea’’ menu composed of modern Korean cuisine with a Western theme.

The six-course menu includes fresh mixed salad with refreshing apple dressing on soft and fresh greens with king crab meat for an appetizer, and soft beef galbi-jjim, or Korean beef fillet mignon, prepared along with unique ginseng sauce as the main dish. For desserts, mousse terrine, made by rolling green tea sponge cake with sweet mousse made of strawberry and red bean, is paired with green tea or persimmon punch.

The menu is priced at 75,000 won and only available for dinner.
