Year-ends are all about celebrations and festivals. Whether you are with family, friends or coworkers, hotels have some of the best places to share the good spirit.
Here are some of the restaurants you may want to book for parties large or small.
The Lotte Hotel Seoul's British pub Bobby London offers the finest draft Guinness and Heineken, various cocktails and high quality wines.
Visitors during happy hour, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., can enjoy unlimited draft beer, wine or vodka cocktails and snack buffets for only 20,000 won per person, exclusive of tax. The happy hour runs on weekdays.
The Millenniun Seoul Hilton's British Bar Oakroom presents a "Carvery and Wine Buffet" running from 6 p.m. through 8:30 p.m. Various Chilean and Australian wines are offered while salads, soups and breads as well as mash potatoes, fried rice and others are provided without limit, too.
The chefs will carve out beef rib eye, pork belly, meatloaf, pork leg, roasted ham, lamb chops and others, in front of the guests, the choice varying depending on the day. It is priced at 33,000 won, exclusive of tax.
Seoul Plaza Hotel runs "Black and Shining Night," 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. during weekdays at the price of 40,000 won, exclusive of tax. Providing Irish dark beer and a semi-buffet presenting 17 kinds of snacks, the package is one of the most popular items among office workers nearby. The hotel also holds lucky draw events to give out vouchers for its buffet and cakes.
The package is available on weekends for groups of more than 10 people, reservation required.
Sejong Hotel's pub restaurant Firenze holds a happy hour from 6 p.m. through 9 p.m. About 20 of the chef's special dishes will be provided as a buffet with unlimited wine and draft beer. A Filipino band will be playing music all the way through from 7 p.m.
The package is priced at 22,000 won.
Mega CC pub at Lotte Hotel World in Jamsil runs happy hour from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays at the price of 35,000 won, exclusive of tax.
Sparkling wine, white wine and red wine are provided without limit alongside eight kinds of snacks, including a German pork dish, sausages, salmon salad and much more.
"Wines are perceived too luxurious and difficult for many people. But during happy hour, guests can test wine flavors and feel the deepness of the liquor," the hotel said in a press release.
Coex InterContinental holds Wonder Hour from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at its Lobby Lounge from Monday through Saturday. Red and white wine as well as draft beer will be provided alongside a buffet presenting beef stew, fried chicken wings, cheese and fruits as well as roasted potatoes. All this comes at the price of 19,000 won, exclusive of tax.
On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the rate jumps to 42,000 won, also exclusive of tax.
Hyatt Regency Incheon runs "Festive Chef's Lunch Bar" this month at its Restaurant 8.
Fresh salad, bread and soup as well as sweets are provided in a buffet style. During Christmas, turkey with cranberry sauce, Christmas pudding and much more is included.
The package comes at 25,000 won, exclusive of tax, but by adding an extra 10,000 won, guests can enjoy additional steak or grilled salmon.
The Lunch Bar is available from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The hotel also holds happy hour at its karaoke and Vy bar from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., where guests can use a karaoke room for 30,000 won and get a 50 percent discount for food and beverages.
