
"The Garden", a European restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton Seoul, will welcome Chilean chef Matias Palomo from Oct. 21 through Nov. 6. He will offer Chilean cuisine and hybrid delicacies.
Palomo studied cooking at a culinary school in Santiago and has worked at numerous restaurants, including Arzak in San Sebastian, Daniel and El Bulli.

The Hyatt Regency Incheon is launching new wedding party concepts: the Garden Wedding and the Sunset Wedding.
The garden weddings are held in a gazebo in the hotel's wildflower garden, while sunset wedding are conducted against the backdrop of a beautiful west coast sunset.
For the services, the hotel offers nine menus, including five Western cuisine choices priced between 55,000 won and 100,000 won. Four buffet options are priced from 46,000 won to 78,000 won. All prices exclude a 10-percent tax. .

The Millennium Seoul Hilton's French restaurant "Seasons" will hold a Winemakers Dinner on Oct. 23.
A seven-course dinner will be paired with five premier Grand Cru wines, Dom Perignon champagne and a Chateau d'Yquem selection.

The Lotte Hotel Busan will hold its "Beer Festival 2009" event to mark the German beer festival Oktoberfest at its Chrystal Ballroom, Oct. 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

A Venetian-style red bean soup will be presented alongside seven pastas, including: linguine with vodka and Sevruga caviar; tortelloni filled with king prawns; saffron tagliatelle with sea bass ragout; and black-ink tagliolini with baby calamari.
