The Grand Hilton Seoul is well known as one of the best venues for domestic and international meetings due to its fine convention center, which opened in 2001.

Facing directly across from the main hotel, the center houses a large convention hall, capable of accommodating up to 2,500 guests, as well as small and medium-sized banquet halls and conference rooms.

Featuring a spacious lobby and reception area, the center provides an atmosphere that facilitates a smooth transition between cocktail receptions, meals and meetings.

Able to accommodate up to 1,200 people, the fourth-floor convention hall offers a contemporary atmosphere combined with advanced audio-visual facilities.

The Emerald Hall on the third floor blends modern and classical design elements, which is capable of accommodating anywhere from 100 to 1,200 persons. It is suitable for events of all sizes including seminars, workshops, small-scale music concerts and engagement parties.

The Diamond Hall can seat up to 340 guests and includes a large reception area as well a banquet room which allows a smooth transition of guests between events.

The center is regarded as one of the most favored facilities for international meetings and conventions. The center was used as the main venue for such events as the 21st Inter-Korean Ministerial Talks and the extraordinary FIFA Congress and the third World Knowledge Forum, to name a few.

The center also hosted numerous medical associations and other groups which made use of its facilities for annual get-togethers. It was also the venue where former President Kim Dae-jung celebrated the anniversary of his receipt of the Nobel Peace Prize.
