Renaissance Seoul Hotel

The Renaissance Seoul Hotel has appointed Igor Ruge as the new director of Food and Beverage at the hotel.

Before the appointment, he served as a executive assistant manager in charge of Food and Beverage at the Metropolitan Palace Hotel Dubai.

He has previously held posts at the Sheraton Sana'a Hotel, the JW Marriott Kuwait City, the Inter-Continental Frankfurt and the Hilton Mainz Hotel.

Sejong Hotel Seoul

Sejong Hotel Seoul offers special tour packages, taking advantage of its location near Mount Namsan. It takes about five minutes to the mountain from the hotel on foot.

With the start of the globefish season, Akasaka has prepared a selection of globefish specialties throughout the winter including chewy and tender globefish sashimi; sweet and crispy deep-fried globefish; and globefish steak.

Grand Hilton Seoul

The Grand Hilton Seoul's Japanese restaurant Mitsumomo holds a promotion of blowfish specials.

Prepared in a variety of traditional and modern dishes, blowfish provides a delicious meal that is low in calories and high in protein. It also claimed to help clear the blood, process alcohol and lower the cholesterol.

The lunch menu is priced at 80,000 won with dinner set at 130,000 won.

Lotte Hotel Seoul

Lotte Hotel Seoul has been voted ``Best Hotel in Asia'' for 2007 by the prestigious Global Traveler USA magazine.

The result was announced on Dec. 1 in the magazine's December issue. The hotel won the title in 2006.

The hotel has 1,349 rooms in total, with 979 rooms in the Main Building and 370 rooms in the New Wing. It has recently completed extensive refurbishment and an overall upgrade extending to guest rooms, club floors, and suites, including royal suites.
