Local hotels are preparing for the Chuseok holidays _ the Korean version of Thanksgiving Day _ by offering special room packages, gift sets and holiday events.
The following information will help holidaymakers enjoy the ``full-moon’’ holidays.
The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul, offers a ``Full Moon’’ package, which includes one night in a deluxe room and free use of the swimming pool and fitness club.
Breakfast or a midnight meal for two will be provided for free.
The package is available from Sept. 21 to 30, priced at 150,000 won.
The hotel’s Garden restaurant is offering a special thanksgiving menu and will also stage traditional games.
For guests wanting to get a hold of a ``Thank You’’ gift, the hotel also sells a range of premium wines sets.

The Sheraton Grande Walkerhill is looking to attract guests with special Chuseok offers from Sept. 21 to 30.
The ``Full Moon Package,’’ priced at 140,000 won, offers a one night stay in the Club Deluxe Room and breakfast buffet for two followed by traditional Korean desserts.
The hotel’s View restaurant is famous for its international selection of cuisines, but during the holidays, it will offer taro soup and the latest seasonal fruit specialty as part of a Korean section in its buffet.

The Grand Kitchen Deli at the Grand InterContinental Seoul and Delibonbons at the COEX InterContinental Seoul have a selection of holiday gift sets on sale until the end of September.
The gifts include a Korean beef rib-eye set and a tenderloin set sold with a bottle of red wine, baked potatoes and vegetables.
Also, there are gift certificates or gift cards available priced from 70,000 won to one million won.
