The Imperial Palace Hotel presents ``Escape the Summer Heat'' packages, available through Sept. 16.
The packages, which are designed to offer a joyful vacation in the city, include ``Escape! Your Way,'' ``Delicious Escape'' and ``Urban Retreat Escape.''
They include various types of outdoor experiences such as use of the swimming pool, a meal at the poolside barbecue buffet and beer at the Garden Terrace.
The ``Escape! Your Way'' package offers a deluxe room with breakfast for two at Cafe Amiga for 175,000 won. Draft beer at the Garden Terrace or at Cafe Amiga and use of the outdoor swimming pool are also included.
If guests want to stay in a deluxe room on the Club Floor, the cost is 235,000 won.
The ``Delicious Escape'' package includes a Corner Suite or Double-Floor Suite, available at 375,000 won.
Use of the outdoor swimming pool and special sandwiches and drinks are also included.
Those who take advantage of the package from Friday to Sunday and on holidays can have a poolside barbecue buffet dinner and from Monday to Thursday the package includes dinner at Buffet Familia or the course menu at the hotel's Italian restaurant Verona.
The ``Urban Retreat Escape'' package consists of a Double-Floor Suite for three people, available for 435,000 won.
It includes waxing and facial massage at Her She Clinic, use of the outdoor swimming pool and pizza and drinks at the poolside. From Friday to Sunday and on holidays a poolside barbecue buffet dinner for two is offered and from Monday to Thursday dinner at Buffet Familia or the course menu at Verona is included.
All the packages allow guests access to the Club Floor, which is decorated in the traditional Korean style. Breakfast, cakes and cookies and coffee and tea are also included as well as 30 minutes of laptop computer use and two hours use of the conference room.
The hotel also offers a use of the sauna, gym and outdoor swimming pool. Those staying in a deluxe room get a 50 percent discount on the use of the sauna.
All of the packages also offer 10 percent discount at the hotel's restaurants. Checkout time is extended to 3 p.m.
