In the summer, many people are concerned about how to stay healthy. But one of the simplest and quickest ways is to eat and sleep well.
The two basics are also what hotels most care about for their customers.
To help guest have a sound sleep, hotels try to create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, and to help them beat the heat, restaurants at hotels are now preparing new menus and special dishes for the summer.
The followings are some of the special summer dishes that hotel restaurants are offering to help dinners enjoy the season without suffering from the scorching heat.
Eel dishes are traditionally well known for helping increase strength and stamina, which makes them popular during the summer.
The Shilla Seoul's Japanese restaurant, Ariake, offers ``Summer Well-being Specials'' until the end of June with dishes featuring eel.
To prepare and maintain the freshness of the eel, chefs are known to have traveled to the port city Busan and the southern island of Wando.
Featuring eel as the main dish, guest can enjoy a six or eight course meal, finishing with Ariake's sweet pumpkin ice cream dessert. The prices for lunch range from 80,000 won to 160,000 won, while the dinner is available for 160,000 won.

The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul is now holding a health drink promotion for people who lose their appetite during the hot summer weather.
The promotion allows guests to enjoy drinks good to quench their thirst and stay healthy, and takes place at the outdoor cafe, The Garden.
There are several juices prepared including codonopsis lanceolata juice, which is good for respiratory diseases and high blood pressure; pomegranate juice, which is highly recommended for women; and bokboonja juice, which is known to help glycosuria and provide stamina.
The special summer health drinks will be served from June 11 to the end of the year and the prices are ranged from 14,000 won to 16,000 won.

The Japanese restaurant at the Seoul Plaza Hotel presents three different fish dishes to help diners cope with for the hot season from June to August.
Katobuki restaurant's special menu consists of delicious recipes, from bass sashimi to Jeju Island's seasoned sea bream roast, as well as eel sushi with chilled buckwheat noodles.
The dishes are not only tasty but also help bring back lost appetites from the steamy hot summer days.
The dishes are available from 50,000 won to 57,000 won through Aug. 31.
