Korea's largest job fair linking domestic job seekers with foreign-invested and overseas companies opens Monday at Coex in southern Seoul, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources and the Ministry of Employment and Labor said Wednesday.

The 2026 Global Talent Fair, or GTF, organized by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) under the co-sponsorship of the two ministries, runs Monday and Tuesday at Coex Hall B and Conference Room E.

The fair also supports employment for international students studying in Korea by connecting them with domestic companies.

A total of 358 companies are participating this year: 137 foreign-invested firms operating in Korea, 121 overseas-based companies and 100 companies seeking to hire international students.

Approximately 18,000 job seekers are expected to attend over the two days.

Fifteen affiliated organizations, including the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, the National Institute for International Education, Seocho District, the Gyeonggi Job Foundation and the Financial Supervisory Service, worked together to identify hiring companies and support youth employment and corporate staff recruitment.

Programming includes one-on-one interview and consultation booths, an event featuring career tips and hiring trends from current and former employees of global companies, as well as corporate information sessions, mentoring, networking events and job-seeking consultations.

A separate session for international students will cover career advice from peers already employed in Korea, company information sessions, and visa guidance. An online consultation session for overseas company job placements will run from June 8-19.

The opening ceremony is scheduled for Monday morning.

The Korea Times will also use the fair to showcase its own programming.

Among its recruitment initiatives is the second-half cohort of The Korea Times Global Supporters, a biannual program that selects domestic and international students to serve as honorary ambassadors, promoting the newspaper’s events and creating digital content.

Additionally, the daily will promote "KoYuNet," its open chat group on the KakaoTalk messaging platform, which provides foreign students in Korea with real-time, practical information on housing, visas, public safety and medical services.
