The Korea Times appointed Politics Desk Editor Shim Jae-yun to the business and finance desk in a reshuffle, Tuesday.
The English daily newspaper named City Editor Na Jeong-ju to head the politics desk, while editorial writer Kim Ji-soo was tapped as digital news editor.
Reporter Kim Rahn was promoted to deputy city editor and will be in charge of the city desk.
The reshuffle came after Business and Finance Desk Editor Cho Jae-hyon was named managing editor on July 1.
Shim joined The Korea Times in 1990, and has served as culture and sports desk editor, online news editor and editorial writer.
Politics Desk Editor Na started his journalist career with the Times in 2001. He once worked as assistant finance desk editor.
Digital News Editor Kim joined the English daily in 2006, and has worked as editor on the culture and sports desk.
Deputy City Desk Editor Kim has worked as a reporter for the city, business and finance desks after joining the Times in 2003.
