Billboard lauds AKMU for new video

Akdong Musician (AKMU)

Billboard commended brother-sister duo Akdong Musician (AKMU) on Monday for an “adorable part two” to their first music video “200%.”

AKMU released the music video of “Give Love” on May 2, which Billboard described as a “peppy, breezy track that sees the duo rapping on the verses with a syrupy, hook-laden chorus.”

AKMU’s agency YG Entertainment had said earlier that the third single for AKMU’s album “Play” will be chosen by the public. “Give Love” reached No.3 on the K-Pop Hot Chart 100 so far, and thus became the duo’s third single, following “Melted.”

AKMU debuted in January after placing first in season two of SBS survival audition program “K-Pop Star” in 2013.
