Korea’s veteran singer Nam Jin has released a new mini-album to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his debut.
Nam, 68, who dominated the music scene in the 1960s and ‘70s, released the five new songs on March 27, which included a title track called “Partner.”
The genres range from traditional “trot” to Latin. He will also hold concerts in cities including Busan and Changwon from May 3 to 31. In addition, he plans to give another concert in October to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his debut.
Nam has released a new album almost every year since his debut in 1964. He has released more than 1,000 songs.
