Actress Ko Hyun-jung was appointed an adjunct professor at her alma mater.

Dongguk University said on Monday that Ko will teach acting to juniors and seniors once the semester starts this month.

Ko joined the university’s department of theater and film in 1990, and in 2006 donated 100 million won to the university to be used for scholarships.

Since then, the school has been providing students with what is now called the “Ko Hyun-jung scholarship” each year.

Ko debuted in 1989, and has since appeared in many films and dramas, including “Queen Seondeok” (2009), “Daemul (President)” (2010) and the 2009 film “Actresses.”
