Innovation managing society has new chief

Lim Chai-sung

Lim Chai-sung, a professor at Konkuk University School of Business, was last month elected president of the Korean Society for Innovation Management and Economics. His one-year term will begin in February 2015.

The society was established in 1992 and has some 1,300 members. It aims to provide scholars with new theories and knowledge regarding innovative management through scholarly research.

Lim studied business administration at Sogang University from 1979 to 1984 and received a master’s degree in business from Seoul National University in 1989.

He earned his doctorate from the Science Policy Research Unit at the University of Sussex in 1997. He previously served as a researcher at the Korea Development Institute.
