Korean singer Kim Jang-hoon and rapper Psy have reconciled after recent conflict where senior artist, Kim accused the “Gangnam Style” star of plagarism.
Kim, 45, who had spoken on rumors of discord between himself and Psy, 34, paid a surprise visit Wednesday to an event in Seoul where the rapper was performing.
Kim made a public apology to Psy, saying: “I had to come because we wouldn’t be able to make up otherwise.” The singer of “Gangnam Style” also apologized for the misunderstanding. Then the two artists took a “love shot” of Soju and embraced.
The singers, once widely known to be best friends in the Korean music industry since 2001, hit a rough patch after Kim posted several me2day messages Friday that came across as he being depressed and suicidal. The posts, which were assumed to be about Psy, caused a backlash against Kim, who later decided to postpone his plans for a new album and leave Korea.
