Choi Dong-ho Elected Sejong University Chairman

Dayang Academy, the founding institute of the Sejong University, elected Choi Dong-ho, as new chairman of the school's board, Monday.
As the university has been in dispute between founding members and former board members, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and a mediation committee for private schools started intervening in the school's management five years ago.
New board members were elected through the arbitration and they have picked Choi, who served as president for Sejong Cyber University, as the new board chairman.
"I will do my best to develop our university and school foundation. I will unite all of the school members so that we can be listed among the world's top 100 universities," said the newly elected chairman.
Founded in 1940, Sejong University is located in the eastern part of Seoul.
