Jo Kwon, leader of ballad group 2AM, was confirmed to have been infected with influenza A (H1N1) Wednesday, according to his agency JYP Entertainment.

The 20-year-old singer paid a visit to hospital after suffering from a high fever and was diagnosed with the disease.

The agency added that the singer is resting away from the other three members and will skip his schedule set for this weekend.

He is the third celebrity to be diagnosed, following K.Will and SS501 member Kim Hyun-joong.

Making his debut in 2008, Kwon has been a favorite on various entertainment programs, thanks to his witty comments and dancing skills.

The group's hits include ``This Song'' and ``Time for Confession.'' He is currently appearing in the MBC show ``We Got Married'' opposite Ga-in, a member of female dance group Brown Eyed Girls.
