K-pop idol Seo Tai-ji has left for Mongolia on sabbatical, ending his tour and other activities to promote the release of his 8th album in July 2008.
His management agency Seo Tai-ji Company said he took the trip to take a rest and prepare for his next album.
``I'm on my way toward a new journey,'' Seo said on his Web site. ``My activities for the 8th album have been the longest ever, but they look very short in hindsight. Even if I leave, I will be with you.''
The vacation comes 400 days after the release of the 8th album, his agency said. He has staged 17 concerts nationwide since.
After the release of his 7th album in 2004, he travelled to India.
