Actress Kim Sung-eun and soccer player Jeong Jo-kuk have finalized their wedding plans for December, announced Kim's agent Sidus HQ.
The ceremony will be at 6 p.m., Dec. 11, at the W Seoul-Walkerhill Hotel. The couple will celebrate the one-year anniversary of their first meeting July 20.
Kim, 26, and Jeong, 25, first met through a mutual friend, said a spokesperson from Sidus. ``But when they think of it now, it honestly was like love at first sight.''
Shortly after they met, Jeong was injured in a soccer game that required surgery.
``It was a really hard thing to undergo alone,'' Jeong said. ``Sung-eun became a big source of strength at my side, and I realized then that I would be happy if I could just be with this person for the rest of my life.''
Kim appeared in the TV dramas ``The Bizarre Bunch,'' ``Catch a Gangnam Mother,'' ``Returned Earthen Bowl,'' and the film ``Hotel M.'' She was also a model in 1998.
Jeong played with the Korean national team in 2006 and 2007. He is now an FC Seoul forward.
