Rising sports stars, figure skater Kim Yu-na and swimmer Park Tae-hwan, have been appointed as official goodwill ambassadors for ``Dynamic Korea.''

Kim and Park are the new faces of the ``Dynamic Korea'' ad campaign which is meant to promote Korea's national brand and raise the country's image overseas.

Government Information Agency minister Kim Chang-ho presented awards to Kim and Park during a ceremony in a Seoul hotel, Monday. The ceremony was attended by top Korean designer Andre Kim, foreign ambassadors to Korea, and members of the Korea Overseas Information Service's (KOIS) National Image Promotion Team, the Korea Sports Council, the Korea Skating Union and the Korea Swimming Federation.

Kim and Park have been won several international competitions over the last year. The 17-year old skater won a bronze medal at the World Figure Skating Championship in Tokyo in March. Last year, she placed first at the 2006 World Junior Figure Skating Championship in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
