For people at large, feng shui and saju may sound like something Oriental that has been observed traditionally so that it is often linked to occultism and esotericism. While saju is the practice of reading one’s destiny by decoding the symbolic letters from one’s birth, feng shui, literally representing wind and water, teaches how to control the wind and acquire the water by the theories of yin and yang and the five elements. Feng shui can also be comprehended as qi atmosphere and shui money. The former governs one’s health and the latter wealth if broadly defined. Feng and shui guide one to a successful and healthy life when they are properly implemented in our living environment. That’s why many feng shui promotions are titled as ‘feng shui to bring success and wealth to your life.’
The proto concept of feng shui would have been derived by primitive life in caves. Some had settled down in good feng shui, sunny caves, for example, while others took up their residence in those facing north. The former naturally prospered while the latter would have languished. It was definitely a matter of life and death and early people took feng shui into great consideration.

The premise of feng shui is that people, places and things emit their own energy. And we are profoundly influenced by the people, places and things around us. By learning feng shui, we will know how to entice the optimal energy for us and our goals. In order to do that we need to be clear about what we want and discern what is good and what is not. Owing to this statement, it often contributes to the development of our mindfulness.
You may start the application of feng shui with a very simple but significant adjustment in your life. Be more concerned with your surroundings. Every object has its meaningful features and radiates either positive or negative energy. For instance, plants produce the energy of growth and affluence. For this reason, pots with orchids or bamboo are often sent to congratulate the opening of new businesses. Wallets where we put our money are also considered as an important item that should have proper feng shui application. Computers and desks are other critical objects to generate business ideas and promote fortune. Cars are another means with which we produce our social and economic activities.

A man changed his car interior with red materials.
There are some important parts in your home that determine health, success and wealth. The front door is an essential area where new energy is coming in and old energy is going out. The kitchen and bedroom supplement energies for your health, physically and mentally.
Last but not least, application of colors may be the simplest way to stimulate lucky energy. Above all, it is easy to understand the fundamentals of how colors are allocated to yin and yang and the five elements ― wood, fire, earth, metal and water. An easy way of this utilization is to compare them to the seven days of the week. Sunday naturally implies the energy of yang while Monday is that of yin. And the remaining five days of the week are associated with the five elements. Fire (Tue.) represents red, water (Wed.) black, wood (Thur.) green, metal (Fri.) white and earth (Sat.) yellow or brown. And once they are employed along with a reading of saju, you may get a valuable and efficient prescription.
A man, after learning that the element of fire represents wealth by the reading of his saju, changed his vehicle interior with red components. Though I found it too excessive, he insisted on this measure in order to promote his fortune.
