Nine West launches 2014 F/W collection

Nine West introduced Grunge Couture as one of its key themes for the 2014 F/W collection. The new concept, a mix of high and low culture, utilizes pastel colors suitable for winter. Saturated berry-tones, Luxe Croco texture and Gold hardware and plating are some of its characteristics. Nine West currently has 18 stores in Korea including Hyundai Department Store branches in Apgujeong, Jamsil, and Sinchon. Nine West products are also available at the CC Shop at the IFC Mall in Yeouido. Meanwhile, Nine West's 2014 F/W presentation was successfully held there on Oct. 29.

Audrey Hepburn exhibition to be held

An exhibition on Audrey Hepburn will be held at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza from Nov. 29 to March 8 next year. Movies featuring Audrey Hepburn, costumes she wore in

the movies, her own recipes, drawings and personal items such as kitchen tools and home movies will be displayed. Tickets are priced at 13,000 won for individuals and 11,000 won for groups of 20. JW Marriott holds promotion with BLT chef

JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul is offering a special promotion menu by BLT Steak’s Chef Johan Svensson. Svensson is renowned for inventing a new taste of BLT steak by flavoring U.S. traditional steak with Hawaii’s local ingredients. The special promotion menu is offered for brunch, lunch, and dinner until Nov. 30.

The executive menu is priced at 120,000 won, signature menu at 150,000 won, cooking class for 90,000 won and gala dinner at 160,000 won. For reservations, call (02) 2276-3330.

Conrad Seoul holds ‘Macao Food Festival’

Conrad Seoul’s buffet restaurant ZEST is holding a food festival through Nov. 16 with chefs from Macao. The chefs will showcase a variety of Macanese food. An online giveaway event will be held during the period, featuring airline tickets to Macao, Conrad Macao hotel vouchers, and ZEST buffet tickets. A one day egg tart cooking class with a Macanese chef will be held on Nov. 16.

Lunch during weekdays is priced at 65,000 won, dinner from Monday to Thursday at 75,000 won, weekend lunch at 80,000 won and Friday and weekend dinners at 85,000 won. The North Face introduces new jacket line

Outdoor brand The North Face introduced new high quality goose down jackets equipped with waterproof and heat insulation technology. The 2014 F/W product includes a Callia down coat for women, Thelon down parka for men, and Spectrum down jacket for both genders. Several colors are available for each product. The self-invented waterproof material called Hyvent and heat insulating material called Proheat retains warmth even in extreme cold. They are also suitable for professional outdoor activities.

H&M Home opens in Lotte World Mall

H&M Home opened its first store in Seoul at the Lotte World Mall in Jamsil on Oct. 30. The store offers a variety of interior and fashion items for the home. Children’s, women’s and men’s section are separated on three floors. Household necessities

and home decorations such as towels, bed linen and curtains are offered and the collections are renewed every season. Stores are located in Europe, the United States, and China.
