Louis Club, a men’s lifestyle shop in Sinsa-dong, southern Seoul, is hosting a “European Month Festival” through Nov. 19.
Customers will be able to experience European fashion brands at the festival, as well as enjoy a fashion show, DJ party and brand sales. Events and displays will vary each week to feature a different European country. On Halloween night at 9 p.m., Louis Club will launch a 2014 fall/winter fashion show followed by a DJ party.
“England Week” will run through Nov. 9, and will feature a pop-up store in collaboration with English fashion brand John Smedley. “France Week” will run through Nov. 19. Customers who purchase blue, white or red-colored products amounting to 100,000 won will be given a travel-size smart phone charger.

Lotte Hotel World has launched a “Find the Rubber Duck” package in line with the Rubber Duck Project which drew thousands of visitors to the Seokchon Lake in Seoul.
The Rubber Duck Project features a 300-kilogram, 54-foot tall duck designed by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman which aims to relieve tension wherever it goes. The duck, which arrived in Seoul on Oct. 14, will stay afloat through Nov. 14.
Package 1 (270,000 won) includes a night in a “rubber duck-view” room, three drinks and three Kono Pizzas. Package 2 (340,000 won) includes a Beijing-style duck dish at Chinese restaurant Toh Lim. Package guests who find a rubber duck letter hidden inside their room will be given presents which include a Moet&Chandon Champagne. The packages are available through Nov. 14.

The 2014 Seoul Lantern Festival will showcase light artwork will be held from Nov. 7 to 23 at a region stretching from Cheonggye Plaza to Supyogyo, a pedestrian bridge nearby.
Light art, images created by light effects, will be incorporated for the first time this year. Twenty-four artists’ works will be showcased.
The highlight of the event is an 8-meter-high “Wish Tree” that will exhibit visitors’ wishes in various colored lights. Programs such as making wish light with hanji (traditional paper made with mulberry trees) and stacking roof tiles will be offered.
Wish Tree participants may visit the festival’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/seoullanternfestival) and submit their wishes at 10,000 won each. The festival will be held from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. during the 17 days and is free of charge.

Swedish multinational apparel brand H&M is launching a collection in collaboration with American fashion designer Alexander Wang.
The collection features men and women’s apparel, accessories and lifestyle items. Sporty and functional, the fashion items are appropriate for the street, gym as well as clubs. Lifestyle items range from yoga mats, water bottles and towels to boxing gloves.
The collection will be available from Nov. 6 online as well as at all 250 H&M stores across the globe.
