(242) Fortune lines in your palms

Listen

By Janet Shin

According to those that believe it, our palms reveal various aspects of our lives. Just as perhaps we can read a person’s destiny by their face, we can also read our palms to get certain answers about our fate. It is because of the significant activities we perform with our hands ― studying, writing, working, praying and so on. They are not only routine deeds but acts of the mind and soul. We read a book, write a letter, make handiwork and play musical instruments with all our heart. We also hold others hands sharing our affection, shake hands with each other, pinkie-swear, avow. In the moments of these activities, our mind and soul convey meaningful energy through our hands.

What can be read by our palm lines? Instead of consulting a fortune teller, you might want to know about your destiny immediately. You might be diffident for fear of knowing a portent. You want to credit yourself that either it will be a success or a failure, rather than letting the fortune teller read your life. Spread your palms to read how the lines are wrinkled.

Many people are curious which palm we should read, right or left. Some say it is the right palm, for both men and women. Others say that the right palm portrays one’s acquired destiny and the left one our innate destiny. Right limbs are more connected with left brain, which is related with the intellectual facilities, calculation, rationality and linguistic ability, while left limbs are with right brain, indicative of intuition, artistry, creativity and fantasy. The left palm reveals spiritual attributes and the right palm is about specific and realistic environmental changes. So we can actually refer to both.

There are various ways to read palms, such as evaluating the lengths and shapes of fingers and fleshy of hills. Among them, palm lines tell specific information about our life. First of all there are four major lines, which are Life, Head, Heart and Fate lines. The fate line may not be seen in everybody’s palms, and the forms of other three lines are not same as depicted in the picture. They portray various facets of our life interestingly, and alter their shapes, thickness and depth of lines as time passes and the situation changes.

One easy way to tell whether there are any problems is to examine hindrances along the lines. For example, small islands, disconnections, chains and across lines represent troubles and barriers in the specific fortune paths. On the other hand, back up lines and stars signify good fortune or supports in times of hardship.

Other than these major lines, you might also be intrigued by an additional two, which are called sun and money lines, respectively, as depicted in red in the picture. The former appears on Mount Apollo which is situated at the base of the ring finger. Usually, if this mount is well developed, we can tell the person is optimistic and caring others, radiating one’s passion. The latter is growing along the mount of Mercury which is set at the base of the little finger. One with this part developed is well acknowledged for their business prowess and acquisition of property.

Both become distinct as people reach middle age in most cases. If any of you, still in your thirties or below and cannot find them on your palms, you don’t need to be anxious. You still have time. They stand out when one is getting popular and rich, so they are interesting indicators of a better fortune. Reputation and riches are undeniable aspirations for everyone.

Many palm readers say that if the lines are shaped like a three-pronged spear, one might get great fortune, which means success, fame and wealth, altogether.
