(231) Easiest way to read others - simple translation of palm readings

By Janet Shin

I usually state that our face and palms are like our resume. They are parts of our body examined by doctors to diagnose diseases in certain circumstances. In general, people recognize others by their facial features and feel sensation through the touch of hands. It is difficult to hide either and they may suggest sketchy information about people through conventional and experiential perceptions.

For physiognomists and fortune tellers, it is quite beneficial to read their clients faces first before continuing on to further readings. They have their own empirical approaches on how to deliver their findings and where to begin. Faces and palms account for important criteria to judge the current mental state of people. Professional physiognomists may identify details of major concerns, such as reputation, wealth or love at a glance.

Palms have not been regarded so seriously as other readings. They are not as exposed as a face. Nevertheless, they have been studied for more than 3,000 years both in the West and East. When you think about palm readings, you may simply consider palm lines. However there are many other factors, like the size, lengths of fingers, fleshiness, frame and finger joints to disclose plenty of facets about people. With our hands, we write, hold things to read and observe, play musical instruments, cook and so forth. Other than these, people do various meaningful actions with their hands, such as praying, healing others, pinkie-swearing, clenching their fists in rage and clapping, which generate lines, alter finger joints and eventually cause how the hand feels.

You may read others’ hands just by observing their ordinary behavior. You also can feel them by shaking hands for business or for other purposes.

Here are easy and useful guidelines to read others by their hands.

The size of hands is proportional to that of bodies. Contrary to our perception, those who have bigger hands compared to their body tend to be more scrupulous. Meanwhile people with smaller hands are rather adventurous and ambitious and live by their brains more than by physical energy.

People with elongated hands are more sensitive and emotional than those with broad hands. The latter are diligent and active. Those who have thick but dry and rough hands are gutty and faithful but can be seen as stolid as they don’t care about trivial matters.

Thin, long fingers with protruding knuckles may seem frail, but their owners have tenacious willpower and try to take good care of their health. They are seen on the hands of people in intelligent businesses rather than in physical fields.

Squared, flat and straight hands represent physical and mental health. These people are decisive and persistent.

Soft hands with rounded and sharper finger ends portray a mild, warm and sympathetic personality, but self-oriented. These people find it easy to socialize and have good interpersonal skills, but they lack tenacity.

Palm lines are either thickened or thinned by occupational, psychological and habitual behaviors. Palms are the map of one’s brain. Accordingly, they are great indicators to show one’s past, present and future. When we read palms, we should read not only the palm lines but the shapes, colors, nails and the touch of a person’s hands. These keep changing along with the lines by how one thinks and makes efforts in their life paths. They are often drawn and refined deliberately by those who want to be either successful (fate line) or wealthy (money line), once they know the consequences of palm reading.
