(226) Your own feng shui cure

If you Google feng shui, hundreds of sites are suggested to provide various information, which include materials, ornamental products, colors, directions and layouts for your house. There are many television programs, books and videos showing feng shui tips for interiors and daily life. They even reach to treatment for diseases.

It is reported that cancer patients who stayed in a forest for several weeks proved surprising recovery rates in their immune system, blood pressure and hormone value. If this is true, it would be a priceless prescription for both psychological and physical illness. Some people have indeed told me that they would move to the woods to heal their mind and soul as well as physical fatigue. Phytoncides, anions and the songs of birds when walking along woodland paths could have relieved psychological stresses from urban life.

Many people try to find tranquility in times of adversity. When they experience continued hardship, they want to figure out what causes the problems. Diverse sources propose eye-catching solutions. This, however, does not apply to everybody for any problem. For some, strolling along the beach may be a more appropriate measure to heal their stress, while for others, farming in a rural area is a better remedy. Therefore, we should be able to discern what is more suitable for our own source of trouble. The fundamental point is to appreciate your individual situation and discern what you really need to ameliorate it.

How can you identify what determines agony, what to do about it and where to live? It is definitely not an easy question to answer. The best method is to cultivate your own ability of awareness and have faith in your discrimination. It is regrettable that people do not take full advantage of their innate capabilities. As a part of nature, all living things are born with an instinct for survival, for example, where to build a nest and to search of food and safety. I usually teach people when they want to find an auspicious site that it is where animals breed and where they rest. It is a sunny spot with mild winds.

Humans used to acknowledge fit places in primitive times but they keep losing this ability for various reasons. It could be because of unhealthy eating habits or polluted environments. People would sense what kind of nutriment was needed for the promotion of health. They did what were coached to by their intuition, five senses or sometimes a sixth sense. This, however, was blurred and they overindulged on food and general daily supplies. Avarice has spoiled them not to retain the sense to lead a quality life.

I exhort people to regain their instinctive power by purifying their soul and enhancing self-consciousness. We need to be very clear about what we desire, what is acceptable as well as what is not. The feng shui guide can be one of the best aids to help you acquire clarity and move forward. Saju readings can be a useful tool to consult. Then, of course, we should conform to what is told by our inner self.

For those who are lacking a wood element in their saju, the forests are beneficial places to stay in to heal. In the meantime, beaches or lakes are more recommendable for people short of water energy. Likewise, mountains or farm lands are suggested for someone without earth elements. If one’s saju is awash with water energy, we may offer counsel to move to either mountain areas or to the southern hemisphere.

The same applies to interior decorations. Plants are not a cure-all feng shui remedy. Water plants or at least a picture with rivers can sometimes be substituted, subject to one’s own condition.

Feng shui to teach you how to improve your environment and saju to tell your given destiny are propitious advisers. At the same time, you should pay attention and listen to what your body and soul try to tell you.
