Samsung Seoul Hospital launched a special health checkup program for ethnic Koreans overseas. There will be a 24-hour hotline running from Monday to Thursday and a special discount will be given to those who stay at Lotte Hotel in Jamsil, southern Seoul, or Hotel Shilla in central Seoul.
Students who are staying overseas will be given checkups for their diet and nutrition. Results on hepatitis A, anemia, rubella, and several other tests will be written in both Korean and English so that they could be treated overseas based on the information.
The checkup, which is considered essential for those applying for schools in other countries, is 530,000 won.
