Deepen your understanding of friend stars

By Janet Shin

Last week, we discussed the friend stars, the same elements as a day master. With different yin and yang, it's more calculating, brutal and overbearing, so selfish that he never concedes his money or women. But when the day stem is weak, the friend star can be a good support. The person with lots of friend stars in different yin and yang is not a good business partner and it's difficult to relate to him.

When a woman has heavy friend stars, she has masculine qualities. Men and women who have heavy friend stars are heroes or heroines. Since they have strong energy, their love fortune can't be good. They're mostly egoistical, so they seldom care about others and can be self-righteous. In particular, when a woman has strong friend stars, her husband can't be strong. (A friend star restrains the money star, and the money star nourishes career star, which is her husband.). Since he is inclined to be selfish, independent, and doesn't listen to others, he's neither delicate nor elaborative. The strong friend star does not always mean that he does not have good relations with his his father (money star). We must look at the whole composition of one's Saju to discern the life cycle.

The friend star does not always have negative meanings. It supports the person when he or she is fainthearted and too cautious (i.e when the day stem is weak). The friend star is good for people with active occupations, like policemen and athletes. It has a certain energy that gives it force and makes it active.

If the person is strong in terms of his or her friend cycle and has strong expression cycle, it means the person is very talented, powerful and expresses his or her ability very well.

The friend stars, whether they have the same or different yin and yang, yearn for money. Same yin and yang disperses the money, while different yin and yang tries to take the money in his pocket. The same yin and yang friend stars just spend without any goal, while the different yin and yang friend stars aim to invest the money.

Basically, when the person is in the friend cycle, he or she should be cautious and achieve success or failure.

For example, when a person has a weak money star and is in a strong friend cycle, he or she will run into heavy debt. When the person meets the friend stars during an unfortunate period, he or she becomes too greedy and tries to make money inappropriately.

Usually, the friend star helps the person put his ideas into action. Although we consider the friend star undesirable when it's too heavy, it can be useful when there is an expression star, which uses the friend star well. There is a desire to make money by investing in the right place.

Let's look at the saju of a 51-year-old lady. She is working for a U.S.-based company in the global sourcing industry and has had an outstanding career. As her day master, gyeong metal, shows, she is loyal and has great resolve. She wants to be recognized as a valuable person.

As previously stated, the branches, In, Sin, Sa and Hae, all have yang energy, externally and internally. They are the beginning of new seasons; In month starts spring, Sa starts summer, Sin starts fall and Hae starts winter, so their energies are very active and fierce. People who have these branches in their saju are usually involved in trading, sales, transportation, travel and are very innovative. If these are their knowledge stars, for example, they would study anthropology, trading and diplomacy.

Since she has Sa fire as her career star and Sin as her friend stars, she must be very active and has traveled extensively throughout her life. Without wood element in her saju, they would have been negatively affected by the strong metal energy. Her life has been noble and others have always regarded her extremely well. However, the previously mentioned `law of constant mass' from a previous column states that there is no perfect happiness. Looking at her saju, we can see sa fire (career star, husband) conflicts with sin metal (friend star), which is her marriage life. Although she has been a successful career woman, she divorced her husband and lost true love.
