(20) How to read the fate

Based on your knowledge of yin yang, five elements, 10 celestial stems, 12 terrestrial branches and 12 animal signs, you will be able to analyze the four pillars on your own.

Let's see how you can read the fate by looking at actual saju examples from now on.

Here is the saju of a 70-year-old man. He was born in the year of tiger (In-1938), the month of Sin (seventh month of lunar calendar) and his birth time is Chuk (2 p.m.).

The person can be described as a big rock or unrefined metal because gyeong metal is a day master, which can represent him. Accordingly, he is a man of a great resolution. He wants to be recognized as a great person. He is loyal and taciturn.

Let's take a closer look at his saju from different perspectives.

If you reviewed the other elements besides the day master, there are many friend stars (same element as a day stem) that mean he was born with strong energy. With many earth elements that generate the metal, he has his own opinions that will not be changed by others' advice. You will learn in later columns about the meaning of five elements in relation with the day star. The element that generates a day master is a knowledge star.

Also noticeable is his educational background and the influence of his mother, which might not be so helpful throughout his lifespan. He is also actually a stubborn man.

Now, from a macro perspective, the jeong fire and in wood must be very important elements in his life. Jeong fire is his career star and in wood is his money star. Money star also means his father. The wood element means liver and gall bladder when it refers to physical organs. In this saju, wood (in wood) is surrounded by metal (gyeong and sin) and earth. All of these are against the in wood. He has suffered the acute hepatitis in his thirties. His father also died young when he was a little child.

He believes in Confucianism, as seen in his knowledge stars, chuk and jin, which are considered repository places.

His last goals in life are to pursue good health, long life and a career with noble reputation. In order to achieve these goals, think what kind of surroundings and people's support are needed.

The interpretation of a saju is infinite. It may start from the personality of the person and reviewing the energy flow, which determine whether the individual elements are strong or weak. As you continue studying the saju, you may understand the situation of the person's friend, knowledge, expression, money and career stars, by interpreting their relationships, conflicts and combinations. Also these are explained in view of the person's age and the fortune of each year. You will be provided more knowledge about saju and how to read the fate going forward.

Cultivate your understanding and develop your own interpretation. This article can be one tool to help your study of saju.
