QuatuorEbene, a French string quartet founded in 1999, will hold a concert at the LG Arts Center on Oct. 29.

The group, which is comprised of members and long-time friends Raphael Merlin, Pierre Colombet, Gabriel Le Magadure, and Mathieu Herzog, is known chiefly for its musical versatility, performing a variety of genres equally deftly, such as classical and contemporary music and jazz.

Indeed, some of QuatuorEbene's most popular performances stem from crossover, such as their rendition of music from the score of the iconic film "Pulp Fiction" and arrangements of classic hits by The Beatles. Sydney Symphony Orchestra

Sydney Symphony Orchestra will return to Korea for their second performance at the Seoul Arts Center on Oct. 30-31. They will perform with Chinese pianist and Chopin expert Yundi on Oct. 30 and award-winning violinist Vadim Repin on Oct. 31.

Based at the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra became Australia’s best-known orchestra. David Robertson, who has been the orchestra’ music director since 2014, will direct the upcoming performance.

Berlin Philharmonic Ensemble

The Berlin Philharmonic Ensemble will perform at the Seoul Arts Center on Nov. 26, during which they will play the works of J. S. Bach, W. A. Mozart, J. Halvorsen and J. Brahms.

Founded in 1999, the Berlin Phil Ensemble has been invited to perform at major festivals and concerts in Europe. They are well-known for their interpretations of instruments and wide range of chamber music repertoires. Their upcoming performance will feature pianist Park Jong-hoon as a special guest. Park will play J. Brahms Quartet for Pianoforte string with the ensemble.

Yim Jae-beom

Olympic Park

Yim Jae-beom is celebrating the 30th anniversary of his debut concert at the Olympic Park on Oct. 30-31.

Yim was the lead vocalist of two legendary heavy metal bands in 1980s; he debuted in 1986 as the lead vocalist of Sinawe and worked with Asiana in 1990. His solo album was released in 1991, and his hits include “Confession” and “For You.” Yim is beloved for his distinctive voice and charisma.

Cho Yong-pil is holding a concert at the Olympic Park on Dec. 12.

Debuting in 1979, Cho is one of Korea’s legendary male vocalists. His first album was the first in Korea to sell more than a million copies. His hits, such as “Short Hair,” “Let’s Go Travel” and “Mona Lisa,” has been covered by other singers. He released his 19th album, “Hello,” in 2013 and the album’s title song, “Bounce,” was beloved by the public.

Famed pop singer Kim Bum-soo will hold a concert, titled "Before & After," on Oct. 25 at Seongnam Arts Center.

Kim Bum-soo debuted as a ballad singer who soon gained popularity for his singing prowess, sense of humor and hit songs, including "I Miss You." He has been nickname "visual singer" because of his visual changes. He has appeared in several TV programs, such as the talent show "I Am a Singer Season 1" and the variety show "Infinite Challenge."

Beenzino will hold a solo concert at AX-KOREA on Nov. 1.

Beenzino debuted in 2008 and soon became one of Korea’s most beloved artists and a pop icon. He has been featured in hip-hop songs, such as those by Primary, Dok2, and Epik High. Beenzino signed with Illionaire Records in 2011. His first solo album, “2 4 : 2 6,” was beloved by both fans and critics.

Lee Juck will hold an intimate concert at Gyeonggi Arts Center from Nov. 5 to Nov. 8.

Lee debuted in 1995 as one-half of the duo Panic with Kim Jin-pyo. The singer, whose hit songs include "A Snail," "Dream of Goose," "Run across the Sky" and "I Didn't Know It Then," received the first prize at the K-Pop chart in 2013 with "Lie LieLie." He was also received awards for best song and the album prize in 2008 and best moment and the stage award in 2009. He has been holding sold-out concerts since 2004. His last concert in March was sold out within two minutes.

The singer, who is known for his distinctive voice , has collaborated with other famous artists, such as Dynamic Duo, Simon Dominic, Crush and Primary. He produced Infinite H, a unit of the K-pop "idol" band Infinite in 2013. His first album, "Red Light," released in 2013, produced several hits, such as "Babay," "Yanghwa Bridge" and "Eat." Sweet Sorrow, a popular male a cappella pop group will hold a concert to celebrate the group's 10th anniversary at the Olympic Park Olympic Hall.

They received the grand prize at the 16th Yoo Jae-ha Music Contest in 2004. Sweet Sorrow recently made a remake of "Let's Make Love" by Fourplay, and will sing OSTs from the movie "Twenty," drama "The Girl Who Sees Smells" and web drama "Discovery of Love."

Famous comedian Jeong Jun-ha, actor Yoon Hee-suk and Donghyun from Boyfriend will act in the play. The story is about Lee seok-bong and Lee Ju-bong, siblings who had no contact with their father for three years returning to their hometowns after being notified of their father's death.

Aurora, a beautiful lawyer appears and tells them that their father stipulated that whoever finds his legacy first will take all of the money. The brothers compete to find the inheritance.

‘MuhanDongryeok'

The musical "MuhanDongryeok" will be performed through Jan. 1, 2016 at Daehangno TOM Theatre 1.

The story is about young and discouraged 20 year olds such as Jang Seon-jae who keeps failing to get a job, Kim Sol who has only maintained her living with part time jobs over four years, and Jin Ki-han who pretends to prepare for civil servant bar exam but in reality is addicted to computer games.

They live in a common rent house, and get close together. The musical is a remake version of the web cartoon "MuhanDongryeok" by Joo Ho-min. The theater is located near exit 1 ofHyehwa Station, subway line 4.

The 2015 Seoul Performing Arts Festival (SPAF) will be held through Oct. 31 at Arko Arts Theater and Daehangno Arts Theater in Seoul.

The international dance festival includes 22 performances from 21 organizations from seven countries, including Belgium, Korea, Germany and France. Peeping Tom, a Brussels-based dance company will perform "A Louer." Some of the well-known Korean dancers who will perform are contemporary dancers Kim Seol-jin and Lee Sun-tae, who appeared in the dance competition TV program "Dancing 9," And ballerinas Kim Ju-won and Cha Jin-yeop.

"Best Dance Comedy" will be held at Sejong M Theater from Oct. 28 to Nov. 1.

Premiering in 2013, "Best Dance Comedy" has been selected as one of the best road shows in Seoul. The show tells the story of a scarecrow who tries its best to protect a little girl and her grandmother from real estate agencies. The show includes a performance by Seoul Metropolitan Dance Theatre, which was founded in 1974. "Best Dance Comedy" is directed by Ye In-dong and choreographed by Jeon Jin-hee.
