The festival will offer visitors an art exhibit called ``Cube Project: Heyri 2020'' and also a performance program under the theme ``plaza.''

For the ``Cube Project: Heyri 2020,'' 10 artists worked on a project of how the village would look in the next 10 years. The artists have filled cubes, six meters deep, with features not found in the village now, but needed in the future. Each cube will represent a certain place or theme, from a dance studio, secondhand bookstore, to a botanical garden and a rice house. Visitors can walk inside and experience the cube, participate in various workshops and also watch special performances.

For instance, the cube decorated as a secondhand bookstore will conduct drawing events, discussions and recital sessions, while the dance studio will offer people a place to dance, complete with 1970s and 80s music and artworks and decor.

Visitors will also have the chance to watch distinctive performances, including plays like ``Hysteria of Lee-Ok, and movies including ``Turning Point of the Youngsters,'' classical concerts and even an electronic band concert.

Heyri village has been a favorite venue for art lovers and photographers, with numerous galleries, museums and interesting looking houses. Various exhibitions and performances are carried out every year, beckoning fans to come and enjoy art.

The Heyri Pan Festival's exhibits and programs will be held outdoors and admission is free. For more information, visit www.heyripan.net/2008/
