Hong Kong film 'Better Tomorrow' to open at theaters again

A popular Hong Kong noir film “A Better Tomorrow” (1986) will be released in a digital version on Feb. 18 in theaters in Korea, to mark the 30th year of its release.

The film starring Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-fat was widely beloved by Korean fans. Chow became an iconic star in Korea where his fashion style in the movie was closely followed.

The film, about the Hong Kong crime ring Triad also starring the late Leslie Cheung and Ti Lung, was also an Asian blockbuster that was followed up with two more sequels.
