Pharrell Williams tweets about Seoul performance

Singer-songwriter and rapper Pharrell Williams, who performed in Seoul on the eve of the 70th anniversary of Korea’s liberation from Japanese colonial rule, tweeted about his concert.

In posts on his Twitter and Instagram accounts, Williams said, “ Grateful to have shared your Independence Day Seoul.” He also uploaded a photo of him performing and engaging with fans.

It was the Grammy-winning artist’s first performance in Seoul. The gig was held at Jamsil Gymnasium. He began and ended his concert with a performance of his most recent single “Freedom.”
