The first album by Super Junior-D&E, a male duo formed of Donghae and Eunhyuk from the idol group Super Junior, topped the iTunes chart Friday in five Asian countries.
The album, “The Beat Goes On,” topped the iTunes charts in Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and Macao, and ranked second in Taiwan and Malaysia, sixth in Indonesia, and seventh in the Philippines, according to the group’s agency SM Entertainment.
The album in total made it into the top 10 list on nine Asian countries. In seven of the Asian countries, the album topped the pop chart categorized by genre.
The duo’s first album includes title song “Growing Pains” written and composed by Donghae and six other songs including “Mother.”
K-pop boy band Big Bang released a DVD featuring their interviews upon their comeback to stage after a three-year hiatus.
The DVD, “Big Bang 2015 Welcoming Collection,” includes honest talks between the group members and the making of the video, according to their agency YG Entertainment. The DVD is on pre-order sale since Friday.
“The DVD is released three years after the ‘Still Alive’ album released in 2012. It will be a pleasant and special gift for fans who have been waiting for the group’s comeback,” the agency said.
The DVD is available in offline stores such as the YG E-shop starting from March 25.
The DVD package includes a photo book, desk calendar, postcards, mini photo cards and poster-sized wall calendar.
