Under-18s banned from Lady Gaga concert in Seoul

Children under the age of 18 have been banned from attending an upcoming concert in Seoul by U.S. pop singer Lady Gaga, after the show was deemed unsuitable for younger audiences, organizers said Friday.

The concert had an initial age rating of 12 and older, but Korea's ratings board adjusted it upward last week, according to the organizer Hyundai Card.

Lady Gaga is set to begin her third concert tour, titled "The Born This Way Ball," at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul on April 27.

Hyundai Card said it plans to refund all ticket holders younger than 18.

The show has drawn fierce opposition from some Christian groups in the country, who have accused the artist of encouraging homosexuality and performing explicit sexual acts during concerts.
