Girl groups’ bra top war

Girl groups are competing with each other mainly in music shows to expose their skin more. If 2009 craze was to show legs by wearing short skirt, or hot pants, 2010 trend is to wear bra tops for the similar reason.

The sexiest icon Lee Hyo-ri, once a member of first girl group generation 'Finkl,' pulled up her shirts and show bra top she wears during the performance of her new song, 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' 2010.

This trend has come to the second generation of girl groups. They perform on thestage, wearing only bra tops. Girl groups 'Secret' and 'F(x)' pull up their shirt and show bra tops. Those 'bra top' performances do not seem needed and do not even match the lyrics. Other famous girl group '4minute' shows similar top from the beginning.

Some watchers criticized those performances and said there are many minors in those groups. Also, concerns about teenagers follow what these idols are doing.

"It is non sense to applaud girls in short pants and to say they are sexy. It is also same if you use 'honey thighs' and 'honey abs,'" said Lee Eun-mi, veteran singer. 'Honey' is used to men or women with sexy body parts.

걸그룹, 브라탑 전쟁

음악 쇼에 나오는 걸 그룹들이 이제 누가 상체를 더 보여주나 전쟁하고 있다. 2009년도의 유행이 짧은 미니스커트와 핫팬츠를 입어 다리를 보여주는 것이였다면 2010년도는 탑 브라나 짧은 상의를 입어 상체를 보여주는 것이다.

섹시아이콘이자 한때 1세대 걸 그룹인 '핑클'의 멤버였던 이효리가 2010년 자신의 새 노래 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' 무대에서 셔츠를 들어올려 브라탑을 보여주는 연출을 했다.

이는 바로 2세대 걸 그룹 아이들에게 전파되었고 일부 그룹은 아예 브라탑이 보이게 입고 무대에 섰다. 걸 그룹 '시크릿'이나 'F(x)'는 춤의 구성에 맞지도 않고 가사와 맞지도 않지만 상의를 들어올려 브라탑을 보여줬다. 또 다른 유명 걸 그룹 '포미닛'은 아예 브라탑이 보이게 입고 나왔다.

몇몇의 시청자들은 미성년자가 많이 있는 걸 그룹에 그런 무대는 좋지 않다고, 어린 10대들이 우상이라 생각하는데 이를 따라 할까 걱정이라며 비판했다.

가요계의 대선배인 이은미는 "짧은 옷을 입은 소녀들에게 박수를 치며 섹시하다 하고, '꿀벅지', '꿀복근' 같은 단어를 쓰는 것은 몰상식한 행동" 이라며 비판했다.
