Super Junior Shines in Asia

K-Pop group Super Junior's song ``Sorry Sorry'' has taken the number one spot in year-end music charts in Taiwan and Thailand, according to press reports.

``Sorry Sorry'' took first place on Channel V Thailand's Asian Top 50 Year End 2009 chart.

Channel V selected the most requested Asian songs throughout the year. Super Junior's ``Happiness'' also made the top of Channel V international chart, ``Top 100 of 2007.''

Super Junior's popularity is not limited to Thailand. Taiwan's HitFM also named ``Sorry Sorry'' as the top song on its "2009 Taiwan Top 100 Singles."

The chart looked at the top 100 songs released in Taiwan last year and took into consideration an online vote on the HitFM homepage, the number of listener requests for each song and the station's weekly charts. ``Sorry Sorry'' received about 250,000 online votes.

슈퍼주니어 '쏘리 쏘리' 태국, 대만에서 1위

슈퍼주니어의 '쏘리 쏘리'가 태국과 대만의 연말 음악차트를 휩쓴 것으로 알려졌다.

'쏘리 쏘리'는 태국 채널V가 집계한 아시안 연말 톱50 차트에서 1위를 차지했다.

이는 채널V가 태국을 제외한 아시아 음악 중 지난 1년간 시청자들의 리퀘스트를 받은 곡을 집계해 발표한 데 따른 것이다. 슈퍼주니어는 2007년에도 '행복'이란 곡으로 채널V 의 인터내셔널 차트인 '톱100 2007' 정상에 오른 바 있다.

슈퍼 주니어의 인기는 태국에만 국한된 게 아니다. `쏘리 쏘리'는 대만의 라디오 채널 히트FM이 발표한 '2009 대만 싱글차트 100'에서도 1위에 올랐다.

이 차트는 지난 한해 대만에서 발표된 음악을 대상으로 히트FM 홈페이지 인터넷 투표와 청취자 신청곡, 히트FM 주간차트 성적을 합산해 순위를 집계한 것이다. '쏘리 쏘리'는 인터넷 투표에서 약 25만표를 얻었다.
